Privacy notice — Sample Diner

Yash (operating the restaurant Sample Diner) is the data fiduciary for the personal information you provide on this page.

• Your name, as you enter it in the check-in form.
• Your phone number, in the international format +91 XXXXXXXXXX.
• Your order history at this restaurant — items, modifiers, and timestamps.
• Behavioural events from the in-app session — what the avatar showed you, what you tapped, what you ordered. Used to improve recommendations on your next visit.

We do not collect your location, contacts, payment details, or anything from outside this restaurant's app.

• Order fulfilment — so the kitchen can attach your order to your visit.
• Returning-customer recognition — so the avatar greets you by name and can suggest your usual.
• Marketing updates — from this restaurant only, over WhatsApp. You can opt out at any time (see below).

• Customer profile (name, phone) — kept while your consent is valid; deleted on opt-out.
• Behavioural events — kept for 12 months on a rolling window; older summaries are aggregated to your customer profile.
• Order records — kept indefinitely as financial records. On opt-out, your customer profile is unlinked but the order rows survive (anonymised) for accounting.

Under the DPDP Act you can request access to, correction of, or erasure of your personal data. You can also withdraw your consent at any time — we will stop sending updates and unlink your personal information from order rows.
